About HAPPO
It's a hashtag. It's a holiday. It's a movement.
HAPPO connects public relations job seekers with public relations jobs.
It was started by Arik Hanson and Valerie Simon in 2010. Thousands of tweets later, it's going strong with HAPPO champions and job-seekers all around the country.
About the web app
HAPPO is a quarterly event, but there are always people seeking jobs or posting jobs. As a result, HAPPO tweets tend to roll in all the time.
The team at Match Strike saw an opportunity to organize all the regional tweets into one, easy-to-browse web app. They decided to donate a Friday to the HAPPO cause, and this website was born.
Match Strike doesn't own HAPPO, the HAPPO hashtag, or the HAPPO logo (designed by John Walls). We just built the web app.
